1. Which information is mandatory on the CPR label?

(1) The CE marking

The CE marking shall be affixed to those construction products for which the manufacturer has drawn up a Declaration of Performance.

It SHALL be followed by the information listed here later. In view of the specific nature of the product cable the fulfilment of the obligation to affix the CE marking set by the CPR is possible exclusively through labels or accompanying documents.

(2) Year of initial affixing of the CE marking (2 digits min)

The last two digits of the year in which it was first affixed.

(3) Manufacturer

The name and the registered address of the manufacturer, or the identifying mark allowing identification of the name and address of the manufacturer easily and without ambiguity.

(4) The unique identification code of the product-type

Can be the UNICODE of the product.

(5) The reference number of the Declaration of Performance

The DoP must correspond to the product. All information in the label shall be the same as the DoP.

(6) The class of the performance declared

See Section 3 - Performance Class to know which are the possible classes the product is applicable if the Class declared is equal or better than the class required for the application.

(7) The dated reference to the harmonised technical specification applied

EN50575:2014 + A:2016

(8) The identification number of the notified body

Notified Bodies can be authorized to issue certificates:

for AVCP System 1+
for AVCP System 3
For both AVCP systems

That it is clearly specified in the «Designation of the Notified Body pursuant to the Construction Products Regulation” available on the NANDO database See Section 5 – Notified Bodies for instructions to access the NANDO database

(9) The intended use as laid down in the applied harmonised technical specification

Cable for general applications in construction works subject to reaction to fire requirements.

2. Which information is mandatory on the DoP?

(1) DoP number

One code per product family.

(2) Unique identification code of the product-type

One code per product reference.
In the case of one DoP per family, each one of the product references must be listed or alternatively the range precisely defined.

(3) Intended use

See in Section 6 - Intended Use the intended use described in the listing of the EN 50575 in the OJEU in all EU languages

(4) Manufacturer

Manufacturer or its authorised representative.

(5) System(s) of AVCP

1+ for Class C_ca and above.
3 for Classes D_ca and E_ca.
4 for Class F_ca.

(6) Harmonised standard

EN50575:2014 + A:2016

(7) Notified body

Notified Bodies authorized to issue a valid CPR certification are listed in the NANDO database. Notified Bodies can be authorized to issue certificates for AVCP System 3 or System 1+ or both. That is clearly specifed in the NANDO database see the Section 5 - Notified Bodies for the link to the NANDO database

(8) Declared performance(s)

See the Section 3 - Performance Class

At least one performance shall be declared, for others it is possible to declare no performance determined (NPD)

(9) Declaration of responsibility

The performance of the product identified above is in conformity with the set of declared performance/s. This declaration of performance is issued, in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 305/2011, under the sole responsibility of the manufacturer identified above.

Signature from an authorised representative of the manufacturer.

The Declaration of Performance shall be supplied in an easy understandable language or the languages required by the Member State where the product is made available.

Availability of DoP on website

For those who wish to place their Declarations of Performances online, Regulations set out the conditions for making a Declaration of Performance on construction products available on a website, which are summarised below.

1. The content not alterable.
2. Continuously available.
3. Available 10 years.
4. Instructions to access the website and the Declarations of Performance.
5. Every single product is linked to a given Declaration of Performance by
means of the unique identification code of the product-type.

4. Which information is present on the cable?

1.	The CE marking (shall not be present for CPR cables).
The following information may be on the cable or on its packaging or on its labelling or any combination of the preceding.
2.	An indication of origin consisting of the marking of the manufacturer’s name or trademark, or (if legally protected) identification number.
3.	The product description or code designation.
4.	The reaction to fire class.
Voluntary marking
5.	Any information required by other standards relevant to the product.
6.	The year of production.
7.	Voluntary certification marks.
8.	Any additional information as wanted by the manufacturer provided that it does not conflict with, nor confuse, any of the other required markings.
